Schneider Associates named to list of fastest growing private companies for the third consecutive year

Schneider Associates (SA) is thrilled to again be honored by the Boston Business Journal as one of the region’s fastest growing private companies in the publication’s annual Pacesetters awards. This is SA’s third consecutive Pacesetters nomination.

The award represents another exciting year of growth for SA. “The Pacesetter award means a great deal to us given the current economic challenges facing businesses today,” said Joan Schneider, President and Creative Director for Schneider Associates. “We’ve all had to think differently and work even closer with our clients to achieve growth. It is an honor to be recognized again alongside some of the area’s most notable and thriving companies.”

Schneider Associates will be honored at the Boston Business Journal’s Pacesetters awards breakfast on April 17th at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel.

The Pacesetters list was determined by survey information gathered and analyzed by the Boston Business Journal from private companies throughout the Greater Boston region. Based on the information provided, 60 companies were selected on their revenue growth between 2005 and 2008.

SA’s Latest News from the IRI Insight to Impact Summit 2009

Schneider Associates own Executive Vice President Julie Hall, attended the Insight to Impact Summit 2009 presented by Information Resources, Inc (IRI) at the Wynn Las Vegas on March 23rd -25th, 2009. The Summit brought together leaders in the consumer packaged goods (CPG), retail and healthcare industries to uncover the best strategies to understand shopper behavior and impact bottom line in today’s challenging economy.

Julie presented a breakout session titled Creating Memorable Product Launches in a Tough Economy with Mintel and IRI. The session featured product strategies from the Most Memorable New Product Launch survey conducted by SA, Mintel and IRI in 2008.

Pantene Goes Natural with Nature Fusion Line

Over the past few years, some of the largest consumer trends have focused on green, natural, and organic products. Proctor & Gamble is following this trend with its new natural hair-care line: Pantene Nature Fusion.

Appearing in stores this month, the line comes in two varieties of shampoos and conditioners, Moisture Balance and Smooth Vitality. The ingredients in Moisture Balance include cassia, ginger, and aloe vera extracts, while the ingredients in smooth vitality include bamboo and grape seed extracts.

At $3.99 per bottle, consumers get the benefit of natural ingredients, without having to pay salon prices. Although, the current economic situation may discourage some consumers from splurging on beauty products, Pantene’s products are affordable. According to John Faucher, a JPMorgan analyst who was quoted in a recent Adweek article, "Even in a recession, consumers are still willing to pay more for green products."

P&G hopes to improve Pantene’s slumping sales figures and is promoting the new hair-care line through a commercial that includes the host of Top Chef, Padma Lakshmi.
